This is an interesting question? Do you really know? Unlike tap water, water sources can be dubious and sparsely regulated with bottling companies often on the honor system. There are no standard requirements for testing bottled water for certain parastes such as Cryptosporidium or Giardia.
A study from the US House Energy and Commerce Commission found that 25% of expensive speciality waters were drawn from the same source as cities and 25% of them could not document their sources. Unbelievable!
